Indaba - pronounced "in-daa-ba". The term comes from a Zulu language word, meaning "business" or "topic".
The term has found widespread use throughout Southern Africa and often means "gathering" or "meeting". Such indabas may be held with representatives of other tribal areas or communities (and countries). |
So, to summarize, an "indaba" is a social gathering where discussion and debate takes place. A meeting to discuss and participate in an important topic.
And in our case, that topic is "food!"
We invite you to stay at the Great Tree Inn and dine at Le Indaba. |
