We invite you to join us for a very unique wine tasting and dining experience. One-of-a-kind, it has been created to showcase the beauty of winter in Chautauqua, and is intended to be not only an exclusive package that combines enjoyment of food and wine, but also a weekend that enables you to relax and enjoy peace, tranquility, good company, and an opportunity to learn more about wines and wine-pairings, from no less than the winemakers and/or vineyard owners in person!

Liken it to a wine-tasting "treasure hunt" at premier wineries to find the perfect companion wine for your dinner selection. Then you kick back at the Inn whilst we introduce you to wines, eau de vies, and dishes infused with wine from around the world - this package is designed to make a memory!

Note: Whilst the itinerary includes all 6 premier wineries each weekend, each of the dates feature a specific menu and winemaker / vineyard owners who will be dining at the Inn.




Monday: You will receive your emailed dinner menu choices, featuring internationally acclaimed wine infused recipes, together with the participating winemakers' wine-pairing suggestions. Return them and let us get on with making your weekend a memorable one!


If checking in on Friday: Enjoy a welcoming glass of ipocras or mulled wine. Put your feet up in front of the fire and kick-back!


On Saturday morning, after a hearty country-style breakfast, you set out on a wine-tasting, food-pairing tour of the six premier wineries.

Taste the winemakers' recommended wine-pairings and other wines, and make your selection of a bottle of wine to complement your dinner selections. Maybe pool resources with fellow-guests, for a couple of bottles of champagne for Sunday breakfast 'mimosas'.


Back at the Inn on Saturday evening, and before sitting down to the four-course wine-inspired dinner, join the hosting winery's owners or winemaker for an aperitif and a chat all about wine in the Wardroom. And that's not all, after dinner, join us for a glass of port.


Sunday morning: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast of Eggs Benedict (and mimosas?) Then, with a map of the premier wineries you visited in hand, consider driving home via one or more of them, to pick up some of the wines you enjoyed before, during and after dinner.

Included in the package is:

- VIP visitor status at six premier wineries
- Dinner pairing and general wine tastings at the premier wineries
- A romantic fireside, six-course dinner for two on Saturday evening
- Your selection of a complimentary bottle of wine, per table
- Join the vineyard owners or their winemaker for pre-dinner aperitifs, and an after dinner port or brandy
- Enjoy ice-wines, eau de vies, fruit brandies, dessert wines, sherries and port or after-dinner wine

Participating wineries that will be visited on each weekend are - Presque Isle Winery, Penn Shore Winery, South Shore Winery, Mazza Vineyards, Johnson Estate Winery and Mazza Cellars.

Because participants are sent the dinner menu, together with the winemakers' pairing recommendations, the week before they are due to arrive at the Inn, the visit to the participating wineries enables them to taste the recommended wines for their pre-selected menu choices - and select a complimentary bottle of wine to have with their dinner at the Inn.
