Its winter! Do we get a lot of snow?

Yes, we do. According to the Chautauqua County Division of Transportation, Mayville, NY averages 230 inches. For comparison Buffalo averages 93.6 inches.

Did you know . . . Number 1 in the most snowfall received anually in the country is Blue Canyon, Calif. with 240 inches? So, yes, at 230 inches, we do get a lot of snow! FYI. The public roads are very well maintained in the winter. The towns and state have had centuries to perfect their skills. They are prepared for snow!
