Loyalty, unconditional love, companionship and laughs. These are the attributes of man's best friend and why so many of us realize why dogs are so important in our lives.

"We had such a great time here! Sam - your hospitality was superb! The food was delicious and our pugs had much fun! (Pugs rule!) Thanks for all of your kindness - This is a great place to stay!!"

Note: Well groomed and well behaved dogs are welcomed in the ground-floor room only. Approval must be obtained prior to your arrival and your pet must be confirmed by name in your reservation confirmation letter to indicate approval. Dogs only
"off-line approval" or cash. Your pet security deposit is completely refundable if there is no pet damage.
At check-in you are requested to acknowledge our Pet Guide Information and Guidelines so that you are aware of the things that need to happen to make sure that your pet does not cause any problems for you, the property or other guests. Dogs must be kept in your room during breakfast and dinner and are never to be left in the Inn unattended. When outside, dogs must be leashed. Owner must clean up after their pet and not allow it on the furniture without a cover under it (sheets are available to use as throws). Owner is responsible for any damage that may occur. Certain breeds are not accepted
and we ask that barkers and unruly pets be boarded. We can refer you to a local pet boarding facility.. Further it is understood that if a pet becomes a problem for other guests or the property or the staff, the dog will have to be removed from the property.

We too are dog-lovers and are extremely fond of our two Jack Russells (Tubells and Sassybells) and Bassett Hound (Darwin), who do not mix with guests or visiting pets but who delight in the Great Tree Inn surroundings.
In addition to the hiking trails, your pet (and you) has over 25 acres of fascinating, natural and undisturbed woodland and farmyard smells to investigate and explore as well as open pasture and meadows to romp in.
"Sam & Louis
Thankyou so much for your hospitality. The rooms were gorgeous. We really
enjoyed talking with you both. We will be back to see the rastafari cattle! and the goats ... and the new horses ... and whatever other lovely animals you take in. LOL Again thank-you so much for everything. Mercedes loved her stay as well and wanted us to say woof woof woof ....which means 'Thank-you for having me and for everything you did for me Sam!'
Good luck!"
